This is the compilation of the first three Ultima games: Ultima I, Ultima II, and Ultima III, complete with disks, maps, manuals, and the like.Īre you familiar with this game? Help document and preserve this entry in video game history! So eventually you had phazers (I'm pretty sure that's how they spelled it) and other advanced weapons early in the game. In Ultima I and II, you were a single player character and the thing to do was rob the shop keepers blind (which wasn't hard). The sales price at that time was about 60 DM. The sale in Germany was done by the company Rushware. The tricky part is to get a good combination of characters for your party. Choose name, sex, race, class, and distribute points. So I started playing III which allowed you to have a party of four and was more akin to the RPG's of today. The computer games collection Ultima Trilogy I - II - III from 1992 contains the first three games of the Ultima role play serie on disk, as well as plans, maps and reference books. DOS - 1985 Also released on: Amiga - Apple II - Atari 8-bit - Atari ST - Commodore 64 - PC-88 4. That background sound effect is classic and instantly recognizable when I hear it. One reason I liked the game is because it was simple and didn't involve tons of instructions to know how to use. This compilation contains: Ultima Ultima II: The Revenge of the Enchantress. One thing I do remember is you could do the Commodore key break to actually stop the game because at least part of it was written in basic, and I thought it was so cool because the font style was still in ancient lettering and the background sound effect would still play. If I remember right I had Sword Of Fargoal on tape before I got a disk drive, but I'd still use the tape drive just so I could play that game and otherwise I never used the tape drive for anything else.
